If you havent been to bummies you are missing out their spanish dogs are amazing and the root beer is one of a kind. Been going there since i was a kid. Love it.

the food was so cheap and it was fantastic. it was under $30 for a family of 4 and our waitress was the nicest woman ever. The breaded cheeseburger was better than a different one I had a bit further up north, and I would definitely recommend to others.

Bummie's is a Bluffton staple! They serve up great, classic drive-in food for dirt cheap. There isn't much better than an ice-cold glass of rootbeer on a hot day, except maybe a rootbeer float. We've had most everything on the menu here and haven't gone wrong yet. EVEN with swamp water! Yeah, the name evokes some shivers, but there's something about the combination of root beer plus orange soda that's oddly pleasing....and addicting. Only complaint is that you can sometimes wait a long time to order or have your tray taken away if they're at all busy. The "start your car" policy works great in theory and when there's few cars waiting on service, but not so well when there's a lot going on. Not much they can do to change that, unfortunately. Oh, and they only take cash. Kinda inconvenient, especially if you don't know that before you pull in.

Been a hometown Icon all my life nearly!! Only drive in with car hops around here. Best grub in town. Made to order. They make their own Root Beer and is is awesome. Everyone loves Bummies. They are open seasonable.. closed yesterday for the season..already counting the days till spring when they open again!! I will miss them all winter..no one does it like Bummies B&K!! Rootbeer floats are still served in mugs!!! Come on spring!!!

It's hard to rave about a hotdog joint that doesn't have Coney sauce. The food was ok, but not a great value. One Spanish dog, one BBQ sandwich, a small fry, and a small drink was $9. The wait on the order was about 10 mins.

Fast , friendly service . Awesome Food, In a Drive-inn style B&K Root beer stand, dine in your vehicle or on one of many picnic tables, under Roof or in the sun . Amazing Root Beer made fresh. Best Spanishdogs Anywhere. The local Favorite, Open Seasonally, keeps everyone wanting more.

Great food and service! The staff is friendly and will do what they can to make your visit fabulous. I love that it's the old school drive up, where they put a tray on your window for your food. Brings back good childhood memories!

Bummies is a Bluffton staple. We make sure to go every time we're in town visiting relatives. Breaded cheeseburgers are the best and their root beer is fantastic! The prices above all else are stellar.

Inexpensive but good. Only downside is that they do not accept credit cards.

Home town drive-in. Not many of these left. Takes me back to the time when I was a teenager. Oh yeah, the food is still as good as it was back then. If it ain't broke dont fix it !

This is what old drive-ins used to be. Hard to find in any big city area! Food was good and cheap, service friendly and prompt. Great place to stop on a road trip!

Great palace to gatter, dirt cheap food, such a tradition, perfect for a bite on the go or a family reunion.

One of my favorite places to eat. There isn't many drive-ins left, and this one you need to visit. The food is amazing. They make their own rootbeer. Be prepared though they only take cash.

Delicious food but the service is SO SLOW! We ordered two things and waited for our food for 45 min.

Bummies is a great drive in from years gone by. Food is fantastic and still reasonably priced especially compared to other restaurants in town. Can sometimes be crowded but that is a testament to their food. They also serve a homemade root beer that is really good. Kids love the corn dogs and mini corn dogs. Son loves their onion rings. I usually get the bummie burger with everything and it is delicious.

Love this place. Best Coneys and Root beer around.
